It's possible to trade profitably on the Forex, the nearly $2 trillion worldwide currency exchange market. But the odds are against you, even more so if you don't prepare and plan your trades. According to a 2014 Bloomberg report, several analyses of retail Forex trading, including one by the National Futures Association (NFA), the industry's regulatory body, concluded that more than two out of three Forex traders lose money. This suggests that self-education and caution are recommended. Here are some approaches that may improve your odds of taking a profit. Prepare Before You Begin Trading Because the Forex market is highly leveraged -- as much as 50 to 1 -- it can have the same appeal as buying a lottery ticket: some small chance of making a killing. This, however, isn't trading; it's gambling, with the odds long against you. A better way of entering the Forex market is to carefully prepare. Beginning with a practice account is helpful and risk-free. While you're trading in your practice account, read the most frequently recommended Forex trading books, among them Currency Forecasting: A Guide to Fundamental and Technical Models of Exchange Rate Determination, by Michael R. Rosenberg is short, not too sweet and highly admired introduction to the Forex market. Forex Strategies: Best Forex Strategies for High Profits and Reduced Risk, by Matthew Maybury is an excellent introduction to Forex trading. The Little Book of Currency Trading: How to Make Big Profits in the World of Forex, by Kathy Lien is another concise introduction that has stood the test of time. All three are available on Amazon. Rosenberg's book, unfortunately, is pricey, but it's widely available in public libraries. "Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude," by Mark Douglas is another good book that's available on Amazon, and, again, somewhat pricey, although the Kindle edition is not. Use the information gained from your reading to plan your trades before plunging in. The more you change your plan, the more you end up in trouble and the less likely that elusive forex profit will end up in your pocket. Diversify and Limit Your Risks Two strategies that belong in every trader's arsenal are: Diversification: Traders who execute many small traders, particularly in different markets where the correlation between markets is low, have a better chance of making a profit. Putting all your money in one big trade is always a bad idea. Familiarize yourself with ways guaranteeing a profit on an already profitable order, such as a trailing stop, and of limiting losses using stop and limit orders. These strategies and more are covered in the recommended books. Novice traders often make the mistake of concentrating on how to win; it's even more important to understand how to limit your losses. Be Patient Forex traders, particularly beginners, are prone to getting nervous if a trade does not go their way immediately, or if the trade goes into a little profit they get itchy to pull the plug and walk away with a small profit that could have been a significant profit with little downside risk using appropriate risk reduction strategies. In "On Any Given Sunday," Al Pacino reminds us that "football is a game of inches." That's a winning attitude in the Forex market as well. Remember that you are going to win some trades and lose others. Take satisfaction in the accumulation of a few more wins than losses. Over time, that could make you rich!

HOMEMADE RED VELVET CHEESECAKE RECIPE

Uniqué homémadé réd vélvét chéésécaké récipé is absolutély thé bést! It’s madé with a Néw York Stylé  chéésécaké battér swirléd with téndér piécés of crimson réd vélvét caké – béautiful, délicious, and totally différént from anything you’vé had béforé.

This chéésécaké is SO éasy to maké and évén éasiér if you také a couplé of days to do thé stéps. In fact, you could usé a réd vélvét caké from a bakéry if you wéré réally short on timé.
Ingrédiénts
Réd Vélvét Caké
  • 2 1/4 cups siftéd caké flour, (siftéd, thén méasuréd)
  • 2 tabléspoons unswééténéd cocoa powdér
  • 1 1/4 téaspoon baking powdér
  • 1 téaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 téaspoon koshér salt
  • 1 cup full fat buttérmilk, , room témpératuré
  • 2 tbs réd food coloring, (oné bottlé)
  • 1 téaspoon distilléd whité vinégar
  • 1 téaspoon vanilla éxtract
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsaltéd buttér, room témpératuré
  • 2 largé éggs, , room témpératuré

Chéésécaké
  • 32 oz créam chéésé
  • 16 oz sour créam
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 téaspoon vanilla
  • 6 éggs

Topping
  • 1/2 cup héavy créam
  • 1 téaspoonful whité chocolaté instant pudding mix
  • 2 tabléspoons of sugar as néédéd

US Customary - Métric
Instructions
Caké
  1. Préhéat ovén to 350°F.
  2. Sift siftéd flour, cocoa powdér, baking powdér, baking soda, and salt into a bowl.
  3. Blénd thé buttérmilk, food coloring, vinégar, and vanilla in anothér bowl .
  4. Béat thé sugar and buttér in largé bowl until light and fluffy.
  5. Add éggs 1 at a timé, béating wéll bléndéd aftér éach addition.
  6. Béat in dry ingrédiénts in 3 additions altérnatély with buttérmilk mixturé in 2 additions.
  7. Put about 1/4 inch of caké battér in thé bottom of a gréaséd and flouréd 10 inch springform.
  8. Usé thé rést of thé battér in a 13x9 or 9 inch caké pan.
  9. Baké both pans for about 20 minutés or until a toothpick comés out cléan.
  10. Cool in pans about 5 minutés and turn out to cool complétély.
  11. Bréak thé largér caké (NOT thé oné in thé springform) into largé chunks and sét asidé.
  12. (can bé doné a day ahéad)
  13. Préparation timé: 10 minuté(s)

Chéésécaké
  1. Préhéat ovén to 375F
  2. Béat thé chéésécaké ingrédiénts togéthér until smooth.
  3. Résérvé about 1/2 cup caké crumbs for thé top.
  4. Fold thé rémaining caké chunks into chéésécaké battér.
  5. Pour into pan.
  6. Covér thé bottom of thé springform (thé oné with thé caké layér in it) with aluminum foil, bringing it up thé sidés.
  7. Placé pan in largér pan of hot watér. Watér should comé halfway up thé sidés.
  8. Baké for 45 minutés.
  9. Turn ovén off and léavé door closéd for 1 hour. Don’t PééK!
  10. Rémové from ovén, také out of bain marié.
  11. Lét comé to room témpératuré and covér tightly.
  12. Réfrigératé ovérnight.

Topping
  1. Whip thé héavy créam until it starts to thickén.
  2. Add thé téaspoon of instant pudding mix and 1 tabléspoon of sugar.
  3. Whip until soft péaks form.
  4. Tasté and add moré sugar if néédéd.
  5. Spoon on top of cooléd chéésécaké.
  6. Sprinklé with résérvéd réd vélvét caké crumbs.

If you'ré in a hurry usé a storé bought réd vélvét caké. Not as good but it works finé in a pinch!
