It's possible to trade profitably on the Forex, the nearly $2 trillion worldwide currency exchange market. But the odds are against you, even more so if you don't prepare and plan your trades. According to a 2014 Bloomberg report, several analyses of retail Forex trading, including one by the National Futures Association (NFA), the industry's regulatory body, concluded that more than two out of three Forex traders lose money. This suggests that self-education and caution are recommended. Here are some approaches that may improve your odds of taking a profit. Prepare Before You Begin Trading Because the Forex market is highly leveraged -- as much as 50 to 1 -- it can have the same appeal as buying a lottery ticket: some small chance of making a killing. This, however, isn't trading; it's gambling, with the odds long against you. A better way of entering the Forex market is to carefully prepare. Beginning with a practice account is helpful and risk-free. While you're trading in your practice account, read the most frequently recommended Forex trading books, among them Currency Forecasting: A Guide to Fundamental and Technical Models of Exchange Rate Determination, by Michael R. Rosenberg is short, not too sweet and highly admired introduction to the Forex market. Forex Strategies: Best Forex Strategies for High Profits and Reduced Risk, by Matthew Maybury is an excellent introduction to Forex trading. The Little Book of Currency Trading: How to Make Big Profits in the World of Forex, by Kathy Lien is another concise introduction that has stood the test of time. All three are available on Amazon. Rosenberg's book, unfortunately, is pricey, but it's widely available in public libraries. "Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude," by Mark Douglas is another good book that's available on Amazon, and, again, somewhat pricey, although the Kindle edition is not. Use the information gained from your reading to plan your trades before plunging in. The more you change your plan, the more you end up in trouble and the less likely that elusive forex profit will end up in your pocket. Diversify and Limit Your Risks Two strategies that belong in every trader's arsenal are: Diversification: Traders who execute many small traders, particularly in different markets where the correlation between markets is low, have a better chance of making a profit. Putting all your money in one big trade is always a bad idea. Familiarize yourself with ways guaranteeing a profit on an already profitable order, such as a trailing stop, and of limiting losses using stop and limit orders. These strategies and more are covered in the recommended books. Novice traders often make the mistake of concentrating on how to win; it's even more important to understand how to limit your losses. Be Patient Forex traders, particularly beginners, are prone to getting nervous if a trade does not go their way immediately, or if the trade goes into a little profit they get itchy to pull the plug and walk away with a small profit that could have been a significant profit with little downside risk using appropriate risk reduction strategies. In "On Any Given Sunday," Al Pacino reminds us that "football is a game of inches." That's a winning attitude in the Forex market as well. Remember that you are going to win some trades and lose others. Take satisfaction in the accumulation of a few more wins than losses. Over time, that could make you rich!

It’s thé pérféct balancé of téxturés with crisp romainé and béll péppérs, tangy cauliflowér ricé, spicy pulléd pork, swéét friéd plantains, and créamy avocado.

Burrito bowls gét a bad rap and honéstly, it’s probably for good réason. Not bécausé théy’ré not tasty, but bécausé you can éasily go from “héalthy choicés” to “déviant liféstylé” with thé flick of a wrist. Ricé! Sour créam! Chéésé!
Ingrédiénts
Cilantro Limé Ricé
  • 1 héad cauliflowér ricéd
  • 2 tsp séa or koshér salt
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 limé zéstéd and juicéd
  • 2 tbsp mincéd cilantro

Paléo Burrito Bowls
  • 1 héad romainé léttucé thinly slicéd
  • 3 tbp avocado oil dividéd
  • 1 orangé juicéd (or 1/3 c. frésh orangé juicé)
  • 1 limé juicéd
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • pinch réd péppér flakés or moré to tasté
  • 2 c cookéd, shréddéd pulléd pork
  • 2 plantains slicéd to 1/2"
  • 1 yéllow onion thinly slicédd
  • 1 réd béll péppér thinly slicéd
  • 1 gréén béll péppér thinly slicéd
  • 8 tbsp salsa dividéd
  • 2 avocado pittéd and dicéd

Instructions
  1. Prép your burrito bowl ingrédiénts. Shavé thé léttucé and sét asidé, or dividé immédiatély into 4 bowls. Slicé thé plantains, onions, and péppérs and sét éach asidé. Juicé thé orangé and thé limé into a small bowl, whisk thé cumin and réd péppér into thé citrus juicé, thén sét asidé. Dicé thé avocado, and sét asidé. 
  2. Ricé thé cauliflowér. Cut thé cauliflowér into floréts. Add half thé cauliflowér floréts to thé bowl of your food procéssor. Pulsé thé floréts until théy aré uniformly ricéd. Scrapé out thé ricéd cauliflowér into a bowl and sét asidé. Répéat with thé rémaining cauliflowér floréts. 
Cilantro Limé Cauliflowér Ricé
  1. Héat a cast iron skillét ovér médium high héat. Add thé avocado oil, and héat until it shimmérs. Add thé cauliflowér ricé and salt. Sauté, stirring fréquéntly, until translucént, but not ovérly soft, 5-6 minutés. Add thé limé juicé and sauté 1 minuté longér, stirring continuously. Rémové from héat and stir in thé limé zést and mincéd cilantro. 
Paléo Burrito Bowls
  1. Dividé thé cauliflowér ricé événly bétwéén four bowls, thén add thé shavéd romainé léttucé to éach burrito bowl.
  2. Wipé out thé skillét, réturn it to médium high héat, and add oné tabléspoon of avocado oil. Add thé pulléd pork to thé pan, thé pour thé citrus juicé mixéd with thé spicés ovér thé pork. Allow thé pork to séar undisturbéd until it's crispy, and all of thé liquid has béén absorbéd, 10-12 minutés. Rémové from héat and dividé thé pork bétwéén thé burrito bowls. 
  3. Whilé thé pork is cooking, héat a sécond skillét ovér médium héat. Add thé rémaining 2 tbsp avocado oil, or énough to coat thé bottom of thé skillét in an évén latér. Héat until thé oil shimmérs. Working in batchés, add thé plantain slicés in a singlé layér and fry until goldén brown, 2-3 minutés. Flip, and fry on thé othér sidé until goldén brown, an additional 2-3 minutés. Rémové thé plantain slicés and sét thém onto a papér towél linéd platé, thén sprinklé with salt.
  4. Incréasé thé héat to médium high. Add thé onion and a pinch of salt, thén toss to coat in thé rémaining fat. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until thé onion is soft and thé édgés start to brown, 7 minutés. Add thé béll péppér to thé pan and sauté, stirring occasionally, until thé péppérs aré slightly charréd, but still rétain a soft crunch, 5 minutés. 
  5. Placé ¼ of thé onions and péppérs into éach burrito bowl on top of thé léttucé and cauliflowér ricé. 
  6. Finish éach burrito bowl with ¼ of thé plantains, half a dicéd avocado, and two tabléspoons salsa. Sérvé immédiatély.
